About Me

I’m a 39 year old guy wit Type II Diabetes who’s trying to get rid of all the excess baggage around my belly, thighs, arms, chest, etc.  While I’m at it, I’ll be taking control of my life and my diabetes.  Over the last few years, I’ve lost just over 100 lbs.  I’ve lost the last 40 or so since I was diagnosed and have put more serious effort into getting healthy.  Follow along with me, if you like, as I become a “Former” fat guy.

I’m working with a personal trainer who is currently workin on his Masters degree. I don’t remember the specifics of his degree program but something like Kinesiology. I also read T-Nation a lot. Lots of good workouts there.

Hi I am a “girl” and like weight lifting…have not tried seriously yet but checking your determination made me rethink. Also I am in need of loosing at least 20-25 libs for health reasons…so I may have a go at the velocity diet…

Hi Daniela, thanks for reading. Good luck with the velocity diet, it was a successful experience for me. One of the more challenging things I’ve done, which made it very satisfying when I succeeded.
